Honeymoon
Our Honeymoon on Long Island in the Whitsundays. One of the best places that ive ever been to.
Everything turned out perfectly, the food was great, the weather perfect and the Barrier Reef is one of the most beautiful things ive ever seen. Pity I didnt catch that damn Giant Trevalley :-(.
Our Wedding PT 2
More photos of our wedding, these Shots were taken by the professional photographer.

Bucks Night
Fishing for the day, night out with the lads, it turned out to be a cracking bucks night... thanks fellas !
Harbour Bridge 75th
A quite little sunday afternoon which ended up being quite LARGE. The weather only just held out.
We spent the afternoon walking across the bridge with millions of other people - luckily the rain held off and we ended up heading to the Australia Hotel for a pint.. or erm.. two.
Emmy's Birthday !
Emmy turns 26 ! Her first one on Aussie soil - since she had never seen a kangaroo, i thought it would be a good chance.
We spent the day at Taronga, and it was awesome, I hadnt been there in years and it was really awesome seeing the look on her face to be seeing some of these animals for the first time.
Christmas 2006
Due to a mistake with our flights we spent christmas on a plane. So here are a few pics taken "Around Christmas".
We spent 2 days in Rome which wasnt so bad, then once we got home it was a case of getting Emmy accustomised to going to the beach and going to the beach.
Albania 2006
For the first time in December 06, Emmy took me to see her homeland ! It was great, met her whole family, and did some fine dining !
We had a great time in Albania, the food was awesome, and visited some cool historical places, not to mention generally having a good time with Emmy's great family !
The day after we got back, and having overcome a nasty stomach bug (she caught from me) - Emmy graduated from university !
Cortina
Me and Emmy went to the Cortina to see check the Dolomites out, but i had a little surprise up my sleeve.
Thats right, I took Emmy to Cortina to ask her to marry me. As most of you probably know, it was on the cards to make things possible for us to move back to Australia together. So as the story goes, we went mountain bike riding in the alps to a the lake of Dobbiaco near cortina.. there I found a nice little spot and did the deed.. champaign and all. Luckily she said yes, or it would have been a bit of a long ride back ;-)
Florence
Me and Emmy took a quick day trp down to Florence last time I was there in July. Its a really Beautiful place.
Ive also included some photo's I took at a Ferrari exhibition day in Piazzola Sul Brenta in Padova.
Lords & Windsor
A couple of wicked moments this summer, a test match at Lords and a Day at the Queens joint.
Myself and Hutch were lucky enough to score tickets to the 4th day of an England vs Sri Lanka test match at lords which was great - chilled out had some beers and checked out some Cricket. A few weeks later, Me, Ally and some friends went to check out Windsor castle, one place im really glad I checked out while im over here.
First BBQ 2006
Finally we catch a little glimpse of summer! So as every Aussie in London would have done, we decided to have a barbie.
Hopefully its one of many days like this to come, we had a great time just chillin in the sun, drinking a few beers and eating sausages.
Switzerland Feb 2006
This years trip to Switzerland was incredible, It is such a beautiful country and more pow than you can chow.
We started out with a nice early 4:30am rise on Saturday the 4th of Feb, and had immediate problems when all of our luggage didn't fit in the cab, a swift phone call later and we were on our way. By mid morning we were on the strangest little plane ive ever been on, some little British Aerospace thing with 4 huge engines strapped under the wings, which were attached to the roof !
The first 3 days were nice and sunny, however it hadn't snowed for more than 2 weeks, so the snow was pretty hard packed and Icy, this gave us time to see some sites, go Sledding, Curling and things like that. On Wednesday we went up to Schilthorn, the location of the James Bond Film "His Majesties Service", which was good until we almost got stuck up there due to a wind warning... It was a blessing in disguise because following the wind came a load of snow. That night as we ate our Fondue, it just kept on dumping... we woke up the next day to an awesome day of powder runs and wicked fun. It dumped again on thursday and gave us another sweet day of great snow with blue sky to boot.
So all in all, we had a blast, and I would recommend the Wengen area to anyone !
Visit from Mum and Lauren 2006
My Mum and sister Lauren were nice enough to come and pay me and ally a visit in February 06.It was really great seeing my little sis who I hadnt seen in just under 3 years. We did all the usual stuff you do in London, sightseeing, shopping and... well, lunch in various pubs.
I also went on the London eye for the first time which was awesome. If you ever come to London its a must, after all, its rated one of London's top places to go ! But you dont wanna get done by the ol'bill !
New Years in Paris 2005
Myself, Emmy, Inca and Hutch all decided that Paris was a good location for new years.
It was on to last minute.com for a cheap package. The Eurostar was great, nice and fast, pretty much hassle free, except for our slight delay at the start of the trip.
Paris is a really beautiful and historic place to visit, I dont know why but I just had this impression it would be not more exciting than london, but there was something special about it. The food was great (loved the snails), Our hotel was one of the beast cheap hotels ive been in, and the city was loads of fun to be in. We brought in the new year with a bang - directly under the Eifel tower, and with our own little bar - converted from a park bench.
I plan on going back to Paris, because there is just so much to do and see.
Christmas at Stan Gardens 2005
What a great Christmas. It was the Aussie crew with my special guest.
It was all about the food this year, Hutch and Co cooked up a storm, from the ham cheese and tomato croissants, to the desserts. We all had a great time at the good old Stanley Gardens house. Oh yeah... then were the drinks... We had a lot, as you do on Christmas day.
Germany 2005
One thing that must be done when in Europe is Oktoberfest! We took a detour in Berlin which was just awesome.
We had a great time on this trip. Myself, Alex, Louise, Diana and Belinda saw what there was to see in Berlin first which was great. We went to museums, ate bratwurst, got a piece of the Berlin wall and had a tour of all the interesting places in town then went to Berlin Zoo. We learned a lot about what happened there during WW2 and a lot about what was happened there since.
Following Berlin, it was onto Munich for Oktoberfest... If you like beer you like Oktoberfest.. and well.. I loved it and so did everyone. Pretty full on I must say, If you're not wearing your Party shirt you might as well not be there. We pretty much did the lot - ate everything there was to eat, and drank everything there was to drink.
A Snapshot of my time in Padova
This is a selection of photos that I took during my time there in Padova throughout winter and summer.
March 2003 is when I left Australia, bound for what I thought was going to be a 6 month trip to work for a company that had its office in a church. Padova in in the Noth of Italy, 1/2 hour from Venice, I ended up staying in for nearly 2 years, and it ended up become a major chapter in my life. Padova I think will always be close to my heart, its little cobblestone streets, cafe's and bars, and its where I met my Beautiful Emmy.
